These design consultants will custom design your artificial putting green exactly to the specifications that you want, or will use their expertise as former professional golfers to design a very functional and usable artificial putting green. Designing the contour and undulation correctly is a critical part of making any artificial putting green realistic.

What is the best product for my artificial putting green?

EXT Bent artificial putting green turf is our #1 selling product. This product allows you to choose your stimpmeter speed by the amount of infill that is added at installation. The more infill installed, the stiffer the fibers will become, the faster the ball will roll on the putting green surface. Express Turf Direct likes to professionally install artificial putting greens at around 10-11 on the stimpmeter.

Can I add fringe or a sand bunker to my artificial putting green?

The answer to this question is yes! We recommend using one of Express Turf Directs’ artificial / synthetic grass products for fringe around your putting green. (EXT 69, EXT 80, or EXT 90) You can also incorporate into your design a real sand bunker. We typical use golf course sand for installation.

How do I calculate how much artificial / synthetic turf I will need?

There are two ways to go about this. The first way is to remember that all of our products come in 15’ widths (i.e. 30’x30’ area = 15’x60’ roll of product). The second way to calculate your design or square footage needed is to have a representative come to your home or job site for a free estimate or to send in a drawing to pal@expressturf.com.
